Looks like model 85 upgrade. Dropped the “controlled feeding” bolt design, that 85 never actually was. Fixed, hopefully, ejection angle. New trigger. Picatinny on some. Otherwise mainly same.
.308 165 gr Lazer out of a 308 win. Estimated impact velocity 1970 fps. Moose at 506 m. Higher double lung shot. Lodged under skin on opposite side. Two separated pieces were later found while processing meat.
The latest version available in App Store is 1.5.14 that has not been updated for more than a year and is terrible. Is there a some special way to get the 2.0?
I would suggest to look at Cutting Edge Maximus. They claim to open reliably down to 1600. Used 150 gr with success on deer for two seasons from up close to 423y. Trying 180gr this year.
Swarovski z3 brh. Its holdover marks are 1 mil spaced with additional half mil marks. Great little scope. I would go with mils over bdc or moa any day.
I would not trust it being able to dial reliably. It will fail you one day. It was not designed for that. Sight it in once a year - use holdovers through the season. For dialing, look for Nightforce, S&B, Khales, March and others.
Not all realize they actually have mil spaced holdovers. There is one mil between the dots when scope is at max magnification. Not sure why they do not advertise it more clear. Any ballistic calculator able to provide solution in mils can be used to get holdovers specific to your load. On top of...
