I see your point and it's a good one. But here in Alaska with our big brown bears the ballistics will matter. I'm not planning on carrying two pistols at the same time. I want bring my bigger 44 mag when I'm also near bigger bears that's all.
@PredatorSlayer I currently have a glock 40 with underwood xtreme penetrators. Ballistically a loaded down 44 mag will hit harder and faster than my hottest 10mm carry ammo. Plus the light weight of the 329 pd and the cool factor has me wanting to carry it. I'm planning on carrying both my 10mm...
Which grips are you running? I put the rubber set that came with it on now with the hopes it doesn't rip the skin off my hand like the wood ones did. I'm looking to handload with better performance than my 10mm but maybe a little less kick than a full bear load. Have you tried loading any full...
Does anyone have a good load for a 329 PD? Hard to find the buffalo bore lower recoil in my area was hoping to make my own load similar and was hoping someone had a good place to start. Shot some grizzly bear loads through it and it was just too much for the light gun.
If you're on the fence I like spartan precision bipod's. They are light and can be taken off the rifle when not in use. Plus you can always throw it on the rifle in a pinch with the magnetic system it uses.
I was hoping someone has some experience with the razco holster for the sitka mountain bino harness. I watched their install video and they never showed someone wearing it. Looking to use it for my S&W 329 pd for hunting in alaska.

Fair enough. Wondering if that would work for registering a bait station?
That's good enough for me was mainly trying to find out if I would end up wasting my time staying around 14b.
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the tip. Any specific areas or trailheads you would recommend in those unit areas? I was looking around Hatcher's pass a lot less private land around there.
