No need to risk it with a torch. Even when you have used epoxy just put them in boiling water for about 30-45 seconds and do the drill bit trick but instead of using a small ass drill bit go to Home Depot and buy a 1/8” really long one…one that has some weight. Very very similar specs to my set up buddy. Yes, that absolutely does seem a little slow. I’ve had 2 v3 31’s and one thing that has always bothered me about them is that one (the one I just sold) would pull 73 lb with 70 lb mods however the other would pull 67 lbs with 70 lb mods. Mathews V3 arrow problem
Mathews v3’s are pretty jam up as far as spine sensitivity is concerned. You could slide your rest back 1/2”-3/4” and chop 1 a little over an inch off your arrow if you can get away with it, go with less point weight, less insert weight, any of those changes or combination could give your bow... -
