Just a thought but Western Hunter Magazine and Eastman's Journal both take stories sent in by common folks like you and me and this would be a great story to send to them. Include lots of pictures. If they publish his story (you could be the author) he will get some neat gifts too. You could do it on the sly and not tell him about it. If they published it that would be so neat to surprise the young hunter !
