Looking for some help locating a few good places to camp in the southern part of unit 30. We will be arriving a few days before our hunt but it looks like we will be getting down there a few hours after dark. Trying to only setup camp one time would be nice. If anyone can help me out on some...
I am in the process of finding a load for my knight disc extreme and was wanting to shoot BH209 for my upcoming New Mexico elk hunt. I have always muzzleloader hunted here in Washington using 110 grains 777 FFFG with a Barnes Sabot 290 grain bullet and magnum 209 primer. I wanted something...
Need to setup my Knight disc extreme with a scope for a New Mexico hunt this year. Have no clue where to start and if they make scope specific to muzzleloaders. I am running 290 grain sabots being pushed by 110 grains of Triple 7 FFFG. The muzzy is very accurate with open sights so I would like...
The biggest pro is being able to hunt the west side and put in for the east side draws. Also if you have enough vacation time it lets you hunt elk every season

I live in a logging town in SW Washington so I usually hunt around logging operations around here animals are usually pretty close to them for the fresh feed. I appreciate your feedback as soon as the IEP opens there gates I will be heading over. Are the logging roads pretty well groomed over...
