    The Crispi dorks on this forum will say no you just need to buy another pair of Crispis. I fell for it too and bought a pair of the guides. I hate them. Now I wear Jim green razorbacks if it’s dry and either danner recurves or the keen Durand if it’s gonna be wet.

    Not concerned about darkening as I always buy dark brown boots. The darker the better. Never heard of this but it has me intrigued. I think I will try it.

    Doesn’t sound like you need a heavy alpine boot. Go with something like the Danner Recurve. That should check all the boxes for you and save you some cash to spend on tags.

    What are y’all using for boot grease to waterproof (water resist) your leather boots now that winter is here? I’ve used obenauf's oil and wax, snow seal, renapur, etc. Haven’t found one that I was really happy with. Waxes push out of the leather too fast so I can’t see ever using a wax again...
