I’m sorry guys should have been more descriptive. I’ve done soapy spray and fully submerging every inch and cannot find it. It’s definitely a slow leaker but I cannot for the life of me find the leak.
I’m going to make a trip down to scout/get a feel for 4th deer. Is a SxS necessary with the weather coming? Was it still muddy since last snows? How’s the roads, is it more efficient to use a wheeler (Rocky/rough). I’d rather not bring one and get there quicker, but beating up my truck/mud...
Winch or come along with strap/rope. Extra gas and food in case your stranded over night. Triumph, Picabo and east of Carey for scouting trip areas. Rut hunts are fun, congrats.
And remember there’s mud under that snow, be careful where you roam.
Seen 4 bulls and 1 buck in back of trucks coming down into Buffalo on hey. Fog tonight ruined my window to hunt before the storm, oh well.
I used First Lite puffy and rain jacket for a sheep hunt when I lived in AK, both great. Whatever pantsyou get buy rain pants, cheap or not, for the high wind open slope glassing sessions to cut the wind. Take hand warmers with you too. Inner thigh or arm pit to get you warm.
