    WTS T.REX Arms Sidecar for Glock 19 / Surefire X300U-A / Optic

Asking $130 (paid $152 for it new) I'm selling my brand spanking new T.Rex Arms Sidecar appendix carry holster. It's fit for a Glock 19 with a Surefire X300U-A weapon light and an optic. I'm selling it because I am switching my light to a smaller version. The X300U-A just sticks out too far...

Looking for day pack suggestions for my 72 year old dad

My dad is 72 and still hunts. I want to get him a nice day pack but he would appreciate something simple. He wouldn't need a load shelf or spend the time figuring out how to use one anyway... I was thinking of getting him a Stone Glacier Avail but I fear it would be overkill. Anyone have...

    Gutless Method in New Mexico

I agree. This is my first western hunt though so I felt daunted. I'm planning a Colorado elk hunt next October and this friend is reliable. I'll make it happen one way or another.

    Gutless Method in New Mexico

I was supposed to be but I let the 22 hour drive alone from Wisconsin get to me and decided to wait until I can get a friend to come along. I'm feeling bummed about not following through but I'll be hunting in the Appalachian mountains with my brother and dad for a week instead so all is not lost.

Anyone use the alien gear backpack holster?

I have the shapeshift system and also the backpack attachment. I didn't like how it allowed the gun to flop around. Instead I bought a Gun Fighters Inc Kenai chest holster and I like how it fits snugly. I wear my bino harness over it and it's pretty comfortable that way but I'm carrying a Glock...

    Gutless Method in New Mexico

Hey folks, I'll be hunting mule deer in New Mexico this November (I'll be in the Gila) and assuming I get a deer (big assumption lol), I'm wondering if I should go with the gutless method or not. Obviously if it's warm, I want to get that animal cooled down as quick as possible. Gutting seems...

Weight of a Bone-in Mule Deer Hind Quarter

Thanks folks. I've been mostly training with a 35-40 lb. load but just moved up to a 50 lb. sand bag in my pack and with water and some other stuff in there it was about 60 lbs total. I'm not that big of a guy and I wouldn't want to be carrying that much very far but it sounds like that'd be a...

Weight of a Bone-in Mule Deer Hind Quarter

Hey folks, I'm going on my first mule deer hunt this November in New Mexico and I've been training with my gear and loaded pack to prepare. I want to make sure I can carry a bone in muley hind quarter with my gear but I am not sure what one weighs. Has anyone actually weighed one? I'd rather...

Cooler for bone-in mule deer that will keep ice

In Wisconsin you only have to take the head to a taxidermist or processor within 72 hours, not all the bones. I want to keep it bone in because I want to take my time breaking it down and not be rushed in the desert sun and dirt :)

WTB FirstLite Wick Hoody in Medium

I prefer the cipher pattern but I'm open to others. I'd just buy new from FirstLite but I missed their sale the other day.

Video guys. Any good free editing programs?

I just found out about Shotcut (shotcut.org). It's a free and open source video editor and they seem to have some nice tutorial videos on their website. I haven't used it yet but I'm going to give it a try. Seems pretty nice.

    Phone Skope and GoPro Hero6

They said to use Linear FOV but I find it doesn't help that much.
