    It seems rigid to me but I am no expert. I have hunted twice with mine and shot off a tripod so not sure if there is any deflection off a bipod.

    The Roughtech which is very similar to the Ember has such a lightweight stock. I would try it for a season before going aftermarket.

    XLR Element, MDT and KRG make folding chassis. The lightest would be the XLR Element 4.0 in magnesium. Also, I think Manners makes folding stock.

    I have a Leatherman TI. Has held up well and is certainly handy in an emergency.
