Haha. Yeah, personal preference for sure. Now that I think about it there are a couple more dudes I know that keep em’ separate. Mostly guys that have really nice swaro glass w/o the onboard rf. I get it, …They’re not gonna leave their nice swaros at home, and they aren’t ready to buy...
Anyone with experience using graphite as an action/bolt lube? Just pondering as a potential solution for lube that won’t attract dust & grit, and won’t seep into the trigger. Most of the time I’ve run my actions totally dry, but it would be nice to have some kind of lube in there. Just wasn’t...
Lots of great options out there, But I’m a big EXO fan. If forced to choose just 1 it would probably be my EXO 3500. Love the design & layout, and it really manages the heavy loads super well.
Hands down combo lrf binos. I don’t know anyone here in the Rockies that hunts seriously and still uses separate binos & rf. Who the hec wants to look at game, and then come out of their glass and dig out their range finder so they can range it, and go back & forth all day?
So which ones do...
RL 26 definitely seems to be the magic powder to use for the 7 SAUM. Good luck finding some though. H-4831 SC is another good option, but it won’t push the heavier bullets quite as fast. I’ve heard several people say that standard LR primers work just as well or better than the magnum primers.
I have 2 of the XLR Element 4.0 magnesium chassis. Absolutely love em’. I use them for both hunting, and the NRL Hunter matches and they’ve been awesome.
Yep, I have folders on almost all my chassis. Totally solid. I really like their new folders that came out this past year...even better. You can adjust the folders so that it locks up really tight And you can adjust the tension on the release button.
I know they already have a couple of prototypes they are testing and I think they’ve made it a priority, so I’m betting we’ll see it very soon. As is, it wouldn’t be ideal to shoot longer strings of fire, but for realistic hunting applications it hasn’t been an issue.
