    🙋‍♂ Two separate trips to Montana. A total of 9 days hunting. No elk. I did get a muley and had a great experience. First time elk hunting in Montana and it was beautiful. I loved the terrain and my lungs appreciated the lower altitude. Will be back next year.

    Picked up one of these earlier and in the year and it’s a damn fine shooting rifle right off the shelf. Taking it to Montana next month as my primary gun. It’s getting harder and harder to find factory rounds for it though.

    Texas Deer Season

    I'm on 300 acres in Central Texas. No luck with deer, but I huffed and I puffed and got The Three Little Pigs. Also saw a beautiful Texas sunset. All in all a great opening weekend. Have seen some decent bucks on camera.

    Does that Wilderness Athletes Altitude Advantage work well for hunting? My lungs are accustomed to central Texas. No matter how much I train before a mountain hunting trip, the altitude kicks my ass every time.
