I dislike the idea of keeping 5+days of discarded food bags in my pack.
Any of the major dehydrated food brand bags able to burn completely in the fire at night?
FYI we are going to be making a 5 day loop from the truck.

I am not asking for your secret spot.
Myself and a few buddies are headed there in Sept. just to chase bear. I need a little help to start narrowing down my search of the GMUs.
I am happy to talk offline as well, just PM your info.
I have camped in mine into the 30's. I have a good sleeping back and a small quilt I use when I camp. I also try and run a small fire next to my hammock and it really seems to help.
I wouldn't trade my hammock for any tent again; it's too comfortable, compactable, and light.
We are worried that the unit we are looking at in Sept is also an OTC archery unit.
I guess which is the lesser of two evils.
A: all the archery hunters there in the unit messing things up
Or
B: wait and hit otc bear right before 1st rifle elk as the unit will have a minute to settle down...
I have the Fenix 6xPro and LOVE it.
I am constantly using the maps, the health and workout tracking software, and its messaging features.
I am already loading maps into it for my hunts this fall.
Feel free to PM is you have specific questions.
