This thread will save someone some grief, my personal policy will change after reading this, can't remember last time mine was plugged into PC, doing it today now though.
I fit the big guy mold, I'm 6'5', 250, and wear a 40 jeans, I use a seek revolution frame and bag, absolutely love it, the extentions make it very custimizable. Best pack I've worn.
Gold Tip Hunter XT 250 spine. 50 gr facts weight, 3 blazers, 100 gr exodus, about 530 gr total weight. I bow hunt elk with this setup and hunt deer with a 180 grain bullet from a 300 win mag. But Imagine this setup would also be successful with blacktail deer.
I read somewhere that hunting in grant county was a motorized sport and my experiences last year during archery proved it true, I heard quads and ohv's all over. That being said there is plenty of huntable NF to explore around JD just a lot of roads as well.
I have made multiple inquires about their gloves and sizing thru the website and hadn't heard anything back, I moved on and will spend my money elsewhere.
I am super surprised how well water bladder between bag and frame works. I rigged up a cord from the two tabs on top of load lifters and on side of frame with a caribener and a platypus 1.8 litre bag on a gaushawk. Really awesome with moderate load. Again impressed with this frame and pack.
The Cabela's XL cot is as huge as specs say it is, I'm 6'5 and bought it because of its length but it was in reality to big both width and overall weight, length was perfect but to wide and heavy for a small wall tent.

Anyone have any pics of these packs especially the Broadwing in a day pack or compressed style mode? Maybe even with a lid attached? Hard to really get an idea about the Broadwing because all pics I've seen are a pretty full bag. I have found a few pics if the Brooks more or less compressed...
