    Just moved to Colorado

Hey all!! After 15 years away from good hunting, we have relocated to Colorado. I need a place to take a 12 year old and a 9 year old for some good elk and mule deer hunting. I am primarily a bow hunter. Any tips, pointers, suggestions about hunting Colorado would be greatly appreciated...

    Please Give Thanks...

Fellow bow hunters, please give thanks to all the former, current and future members of our military. A great teacher and bow hunter was recently introduced to our maker a little too early. He got me into bow hunting years ago. Thank you my friend. Hooyah! "Certainly there is no hunting...

    Suggestions for CA bear hunt

Anywhere between Bakersfield and Merced/Modesto on the West, up in the mountains. Listen to all the others from Central, CA. I live here also but usually work out of the country for long periods of time. Any of these areas will get you in bear country.

You might be a backpack hunting obsessed Rokslider if....

You build an entire room in the garage just for you and your hunting gear. We bought a new house about 1 year ago and the deal was new house for the wife and I built a room in the garage and put all my hunting stuff out there.

Utah San Juan Elk Ridge - Muzzleloader Mule Deer

Try hunting West of Shay Ridge. I killed my first mule deer there in 1996. It was around 180" and weighed about 300 lbs. I hunted with some locals from Monticello that still live there. We hiked about 5 miles early in the morning and I was the lucky newby that shot the big deer that year...
