    Buying used with no warranty

I've bought and sold dozens of bows now. I've never once used a warranty. Call me lucky or whatever, I just don't think it's as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

    Colonoscopy....

I had my first done a few months ago at the age of 45. Few days of diet changes as mentioned above. Prep was simple. A few dulcolax pills and a bottle of miralax mixed with a few bottles of clear Gatorade. Was honestly expecting much worse. Procedure was quick and no discomfort. That first...

    Mid-size SUV or wagon options

A guy I used to work with did this same thing. Kind of chuckled when I saw it, but the more I see it the more it makes sense. Pretty solid workhorse there.

    Mid-size SUV or wagon options

A Crosstrek Wilderness would probably get me through 99.5% of my hunting needs. Stout little rides!

    Mid-size SUV or wagon options

That width measurement is from the narrowest point between the wheel wells. I didn't get a picture of the height, but it's right about 32" from the center of the rear floor space. Hope that helps.

    Mid-size SUV or wagon options

I'll take some measurements tonight and report back in the morning. I've never pulled anything with it, but I think they're rated around 3,500 lbs. Not a towing monster by any means, but enough capacity for smaller loads.

    Mid-size SUV or wagon options

I got some experience here. I've got a '14 Outback that I use as a commuter vehicle for work. 215k miles on it. I also use it a lot for fall bird and whitetail hunting. I haven't found anything yet that really limited me except for deep rutted road where I knew I could get her hung up on...

    AWD e-bike comparison

I keep going back on forth on buying a complete bike vs building one out like you. Would you mind sharing links to the kits you're buying and any other tips/tricks on build?

Insight on Michigan grouse/woodcock for fall '24

Born and raised in the UP, spending a lot of time on the west end. -Fields aren't really a thing over there unless you're talking about farm fields. Grouse/woodcock won't be there anyway so just cruise on by. -Depending on the conditions, birds could be anywhere. If you're looking for...

Early September vs Late September Archery

Looks like September full moon is 18th. Kind of torn on dates given that info. I prefer to be hunting leading up to a full moon but not the days right after it. Kind of throws a bit of a wrench in the plans potentially.

Michiganders that have flown to Newfoundland help

Not exactly sure where you're at in the state, but another option to consider is flying out of Sault Ste Marie, ON. Small, regional airport that is a hell of a lot easier dealing with compared to Toronto IMO. I, too, prefer to cross the border via car vs flying in, but that's just me.

WY GEN $2K Raghorns you shooting?

For a $2000 tag I'm shooting the first lost calf that comes. No way I'm going home with nothing

MONTANA TO TEXAS - a possible move

I think that's a question that only you and your family can answer. Sounds pretty miserable for you where you're at. Is Texas going to be just another version of that or is it an upgrade in your quality of life? For me Texas is on my list of places I'd never live....mostly for the reasons...
