Bought last year and I lost weight so these are huge on me now. I dont think I ever wore them as I didnt hunt this year. I did have them hemmed but didnt alter the length. I removed the hem so they are the length they came from Kuiu (34). There is some evidence of the stitching but hard to...
I dont think Scarpa offers a wide width anymore. They used to with the Kailash which I bought years ago. When I looked at getting a new pair, I didn't see a wide option anymore so I contacted them. No longer offered....the BD last i was told is their "widest" fit.
I got the pop up 18 for my hunt this year. I'll ride my ATV in in the morning and hunt on foot all day. The 18 was exactly what I was looking for in a pack since I'm not carrying a tent and sleeping bag. It was enough to carry my kill kit, layers, chow/water and other bits.
Didnt get to use...
Gonna have to check that one out....its like a sportsman's playground. They had one of everything and was a good place to check things out in person. I don't remember how the pricing was though......I'm sure its full retail, gotta pay for the ferris wheel.
Johnstown seems like an odd place...
I just got the non leather version of these last week.
: SCARPA North America
Previously had a pair of the Kailash in WIDE when they used to offer them.
The regular Kailash is too narrow and Scarpa recommended these as a replacement since the boot last is a *little* wider.
I did go a 1/2...
Wish they would bring back wide options. I had a pair of Kailash in wide and they were the best boots I've owned. Since they bit the dust its been hard to find a replacement.
Just got the R-evolution GTX (non KUIU model) and they are a *little* wider than the kailash but not by much.
