Rockslide Fam,
I met an old timer (82 years old) today who has drawn the 240 moose tag and has been hunting it solo without much success. If anybody has seen any bulls recently in the roots and wouldn’t mind helping an old timer I know it would mean the world to him! Would love to help this guy...
I have a very lightly used Subercub for sale. Sharp as it was the day out of the box! Just a little longer blade than I’m used to. Great knife, high quality build, orange handle, includes kydex sheath
I drove up there in 2017 and did a fly in caribou hunt. Was nice to have an awesome camping trip before the hunt without getting added expense of getting a rental car. That being said, renting a uhaul van is pretty cheap and flying up there is really fast. If you do a fly in hunt the transporter...
I’ve got some great wilderness style backpack hunts available in Montana for 23 if you are still interested. I run a low volume high success operation and take great pride in my clients success!
Feel free to reach out via DM for more info
I used one this spring on the peninsula and could never really get it to work right. Had it all set up right but I felt like it was more of an illusion of safety for the clients than anything. Most of those bears run like hell when they smell humans anyway 🤷🏻♂️
I spent almost 2 months in the field in Alaska last year and have spent many nights across Montana in archery and rifle seasons and have used the same setup for years. Stone Glacier 15* bag and Neoair Xtherm. You’ll be more than comfortable from about 5-10 degrees and warmer.
I’ve got some great mule deer hunts on public/private here in Western Montana. If you buy a preference point this year you should be garunteed to draw in the outfitter pool next year. Great mule deer and whitetail hunting! Shoot me a message for dates and pricing!
Send me a pm if you are still looking at doing your moose hunt in AK. Our outfit operates in several different areas and our western AK hunts are world class. We had 4 hunters last year and everyone tagged out in a couple days. I was co guiding 2 hunters and we got both of them magnificent...
Probably the most predictable time of year to find bears. Pretty limited country melted off, even less green. Pretty obvious where the bears are that time of year. Def less sightings early but I’ve seen some of the biggest bears in April. Downside is your gonna spend a fair bit of time post...
Hey if you are still looking for a spring bear hunt I’ve got a few spots still available for this spring!

If you want to go the guided route I’ve got a couple slots open early May and early June. Very high success, not nearly as many grizzlys as the Bozeman area!
Dm me for more info if you are interested!
The last time I was in there that “road” up to round top was gated about 100 yards off the main road. Claimed to be COVID related…..A lot of guys had been blowing by it with 4 wheelers, but might be open at this point idk. Would be worth bringing a 4 wheeler just in case.
