The units are irrelevant because they don't give us all the other variables for determining the total weight of the garment.
I'm hoping they provide a reasonable explanation but until then I have to assume they're hoping people see the 112 gm value and think it's the total garment weight.
I'm headed out to Colorado S32 on Thursday for my first sheep hunt and my preparations are all but done. While I wait here in Michigan chomping at the bit to hit the road I'd like to hear from you veteran sheep hunters about anything I might be overlooking or any words of wisdom to help me be...
@ForlohFamily Why do you list your product weights in meters squared on your website? Is it the fabric weight without factoring in the hardware? Are the total weights listed somewhere else? It seems intentionally deceptive
@ForlohFamily I see that the weights of products on your website are listed in grams per meter squared. Can someone explain to me how this is helpful in determining the total weight of the product without knowing the total area? What am I missing?
These are based on goosefeet gear's waterproof booties with the toughtek soles. I'm not sure if he cuts the soles himself or buys them pre-cut but extending them over the toes atleast would probably be a good idea. They're the heaviest part of the waders though so that would be the trade off.
I plan on testing them once it warms up a little so I'll report back with the verdict but they came out at 8.18oz on my kitchen scale this morning.
I don't know how you can see that I changed my username but I'm not 100% sure why I did it. When I first started trying to post here I had trouble...
I had goosefeet gear make me some hip waders that go over my boots for quick crossings. The cinches aren't strong enough alone to hold the waders up so I loop them around my belt and that works great. I had to seam seal them myself but they're pretty slick and lightweight. I haven't put them...
I logged in at 8:00 on the dot and clicked the "buy big game tags" link about 10 seconds after 8:00 and it didn't put me into the queue. It took me straight to the residency page and i didn't realized i wasn't in line until 8:30. Not sure why it didn't queue me up but it's very frustrating
Jethro you're right. I see now that the tag numbers that GoHunt was providing me was for nonresidents only. I need to be looking at the total tags issued for residents and nonresidents combined
I'm looking into applying in New Mexico this year but the numbers are discouraging for the DIY hunter. The way I'm reading it on GoHunt there are only 2 units with enough tags allocated to make it possible for the unguided non-resident to draw. There has to be at least 17 tags given out to in...
Lone wolf is good for adjusting side to side but doesnt help if the tree is leaning forward or back. The millenium m150 has an adjustment on the base of the stand for those situations. I'm not aware of any stands that do both kinds of adjustments
