    Check out Wilderness Mule out of Idaho. They hunt the Frank, but seems to have great accommodations for back country camp.

    NC archery hunter looking for Western Elk partner

    Charlotte, NC over here. Newer to western hunting, but have elk points in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado. I am wanting to take my son out west to hunt Elk. He is 13 and has points as well. I prefer archery, but he is a gun guy.

    Using a Muzzle Brake vs not for Magnums

    I also have a Tikka T3 in Ultra light in .300 Win Mag. Shooting Sako rounds at the range isn’t too bad, but put hornady on there and burn 20 rounds and I want to call it a day. When fired at a live animal you don’t even notice any kick.

    Frank Church-Sept hunt

    Had you hunted Frank Church before this trip? I was thinking of going Sept 21 for elk with a backup deer tag since it can be filled by Bear, Wolf, or Cougar. Just curious on your thoughts. We were looking at doing a drop camp.
