Anyone else get this tag? Our hunting group got lucky and drew 5 tags out of 7 people. My first year going into arctic valley but they did this hunt last year and were successful. I’ll see anyone else in there that was quick on the draw this morning. My legs and knees are already hurting...
Only had a weekend to get it done and the stars aligned perfectly. Definitely got off easy with this ram bring my first hunt. Left camp around 9am back in camp by 11pm, 13 mile round trip and 2500 foot elevation climb. Ended up shooting him at 320 yards
fish and game aged him at 5 with a 36...
So finally took my very first bear and very first bow kill as well with this hunt. Took a shot at 45 yards, had to climb over 600 feet vertical to get to him and took 2 hours to get within range.
