    Help me choose a 7mm..

    I like the 7mm RM. If you ever take your rifle on a plane, and a government entity decides you haven't packed your ammo correctly, you will probably be able to find ammo at your destination. 7 SAUM is a great round, but I dont see a huge real world advantage.

    I have not. I would assume it would be ok. You can adjust at both the top and bottom, to get the balance point correct. Also, the strap should keep the slig locked to your pack, and prevent it from rotating

    A friend had one of these rifles in 300 WM. It was fairly accurate, but extremely tough to shoot. Not forgiving at all. Of course, lightweight rifles are tougher to shoot, but when he sold it and bought a mesa, his misses disappeared

    If they can get the FBI involved, then they will be able to scoop him up. Otherwise, they can't pursue across state lines, which makes it a waiting game. Eventually this guy will get pulled over for speeding, and when they run his license, he'll be headed back to Montana

    To be honest, not much action. I doubt anyone is actively looking for him. He's not in montana, so the law there can't get him. If someone were to find him, then they could contact the local authorities, and they could identify and arrest him.

    Maybe try best of both worlds? The new leupold vx3hd has a cds with zero lock. You can also get it with the B&C reticle. If you have time, dial, if not grab the 400 hashmark, and shoot. It's not crowded like the moa reticle
