    You can get a smaller diameter end cap that would help. I’ve used my .375 Raptor as is on my 300 WSM and it works fine. Is it as quiet as a .30 cal? I doubt my Mk. 1 ears could tell the difference

    My take away was that even a .22 WMR will penetrate bear skull, so a 9mm (speed, hit rate) over a 10mm for woods carry makes sense. Of course, bullet selection matters. I shot a friends’ PMR30 yesterday. Seems like it would make a good training gun.
