General Discussion Forum A place to discuss anything and everything that doesn't have its own forum.

So after a very few posts on the subject I give. If you guys feel so weakly on some very important issues and so strongly against some very important issues then at best you are fence sitters. At worst you fill in the blank.

Remember Matt this is a topic about free speech, we are not even talking politics.

Had to look that one up, but no I don't fit in that group. I like putting gas in my trucks, and It annoys me that Wyoming/Feds have moved the wilderness areas out so far.

Did you just fake quote yourself? What I really think? This is no time in history to shut down free speech. Then again BG why don't you care?

Odd for you to say this. Probably true but considering I have posted no profanity or threatened anyone that end would seem especially left to me. Something like "Shut Up!" We want to keep our heads in the sand, hide in the shade, think happy thought, etc. Amazingly there is no dedicated 2A forum...

General Discussion Forum A place to discuss anything and everything that doesn't have its own forum.

Funny post! I have not proven anything about political posts you guys have only proven you are not mature enough to handle free speech. The Wolf Issue! Oooooh political because Bill Clinton signed off on it. Because wolves obviously were one way the left could reduce hunting opportunity for us...

Would it be possible for you to not open the threads that concern you?

Well the facts are this is exactly the behavior of the mainstream media and social networks. Is the first amendment political in your mind? It should not be. How does the printed word effect you? Are we not grown up enough to speak freely without moderation? How exactly is it a hunting/shooting...

Interesting, another one. Funny in a way that you feel just anywhere on the internet includes hunters, gun owners, and shooters all with the same hope, to retain the right to pursue those interests. Insane really.

.223 for bear, deer, elk and moose.

Funny post. For all types of deer hunting in all types of cover and distances under no circumstance would I choose a 223. For hunting very open country or watching feeders and willing to keep my shots under 200 yards sure no problem. For hunting the thick like east TX where shot angles might...

Seems that the super moderator might as well be a democrat/progressive/socialist. Maybe even work for Twitter/Facebook or MSNBC. Currently politics may have a very important impact on shooting. hunting and gun ownership. Being a smart ass is not what I am doing.

Seems not being able to post topics on politics is odd considering the forum description.

Quantify vastly superior? My 7-08 pushing a 140 gr. Partition at 2700 fps.

.223 for bear, deer, elk and moose.

Empiracal evidence that a .224 75 grain bullet when placed in the center of the chest is deadly! A bullet that comes apart at a fast rate, Sure I coulda tole you that and say the same thing for the Hornady 55 caliber Hornady SP but no I do not consider the 223 an all around deer rifle.

    Anyone else feeling the election?

Well what is your forecast. I think Trump will win and there may be big violence.

.223 for bear, deer, elk and moose.

But you could say the same thing about many cartridges, 6.5 Creed a vastly superior cartridge over the 223. My 260 Remington for instance is low recoil and deadly accurate. I mean if I were looking for a deer round I would have many low recoil and very accurate rifles that have more flexibility.

It is heavy on me. Serious things being discussed.

There are a considerable number of cartridges that will outperform the 223 under many circumstances that are not magnums. And they don't kick much either.
