    They didn't have a strong recommendation either way so I figured I would go with the cheaper one on demo and could return if I wasn't happy. But I've been quite happy with them.

    Bino Doubler

    Anyone use a bino doubler to check targets at the range 400-500 yards? I just picked up Maven C1 10x42 I was thinking of buying a vortex doubler just to bring alone to range so I can check targets further out. I know you lose brightness and clarity but has anyone tried this? will it work? Thanks

    Most expensive piece of gear you've lost on a hunt?

    Lost a rangefinder. Ranging a couple goats across a ravine about 300 yards away. Turned around and had 4 nannies and 4 kids walk up behind us within 20 yards. Put the rangefinder down somewhere and never found it.

    Go for it. I have a 7mm WSM and it has great with 150 TSX 160 accubonds and 168 bergers. I am sure the 7 saum will be just as good.
