Looking to trade some H1000 or Retumbo for N570...would prefer to do it local in California so don't have to ship but depending on situation would be willing.
don't expect to move mountains in your first year...scout as many areas as possible...the greatest areas are going to be the farther off the road you go. The last few years for high country has been hard with SPI closing most ground because of fire danger. They have already closed it for 2022.
Hunted 11/211 for 7 years now...last year 3rd season was the most crowded I have ever seen it. Im assuming everyone had same idea that could be decent as late in the year as it was. Hope for weather to move new animals down and into the unit.
There are several posts regarding the Berger hybrid target vs vld...most would say the hybrid targets do great on big game. Some people clean out the tips while others run them without cleaning. The Berger 215 and 195 are probably the most popular of those.
Out here in California we just had a distributor open up for a day offering most powders for about 50 a pound including H1000 Retumbo all Reloaders with no limit...problem is I have more than I need of those. Its the N570 that I am needing that seems the hardest to come by.
Thank you for this review...I have been looking into this Revic for some time but had always been hesitant figuring it would be quite the project to retrofit. Im now thinking about giving it a try.
Im running 4831SC with Berger 210s around 2800 and stopped because of accuracy node...this is in a fierce CT Edge. I have a hunting partner with custom built 300 win shooting almond exactly the same. We are both running fed 215M and Norma brass. Both of these rifles could get pushed a lot harder...
How much did you open those up? I am building a 7 Mega around the 190 Hybrid and am trying to figure out whether to open them up or not. I have another buddy running the 195 in a 28 Nosler and not opening them up and performance is spectacular.
