    Sitka 3/4 pants elastic modifications

    Anyone have the Sitka kelvin lite 3/4 pants that has made a modification to the bottom to add more elastic? I’m looking to either add elastic or make the bottom a little more narrow so there’s not such an enormous opening. Anyone have ideas?

    45-70 grizzly ammo

    Is the hornady leverevolution 325gr 45-70 sufficient for grizzly bear defense in Alaska? I was able to get a lot of the 325gr leverevolution ammo at a great price, but not sure if it is worth taking in a backup gun while bow hunting moose. Anyone have experience with this ammo on big bears?

    Alaskan Bow hunting side arm?

    Does anyone carry a side arm while archery hunting moose in alaska? I will be with a guide, but not always will I be next to him as bow hunting can take me away from him if he is calling or raking.
