I have a Stephenson's Warmlite 3R. Bomber tent that weights about 4lbs 5 ozs. Little heavier than the single pole or hiking pole tents, but the quality can't be beat. Mine is 20 years old and still going strong. I'm 6'4" and its got plenty of space for 2 people and gear.
I use a Western Mountaineering Sycamore as a quilt. Semi-rectangular that unzips flat. Few more ounces than a quilt with a comparable amount of down, but have the option of completely zipping up when the temps are below freezing. Nice and wide for bigger people.
