    Stone Glacier Chilkoot 15º Field Review

    Use one last year in the Beartooth Wilderness in september. Its definitely warm. I'm a pretty warm sleeper. Got down to the 20's some nights. I was still having to open venting a lot. Good room and I'm about 6'4" and 225 lb.

    Canadian Dall Outfitters

    I'll throw out a recommendation for Raven's Throat Outfitters in NWT. Hunted with them in 2018. Was awesome. Very classy management, great guides, great sheep.

    Rain gear ?.

    Used the new Kutana rain gear from Kuiu last year, worked great. I have the Yukon as well. Its also great but a little heavier (also a little more robust). I was my gear with Grangers or Nikwax to add a DWR coating, then I also spray it w/ DWR spray. Probably overkill but seems to help.

    Horn Replicas.

    I had the folks in Wyoming do a replica on my dall. They did a great job. I had the replica placed in the mount and then had a base made for the euro of my original. I can remove the euro from the base for holding if I wish.

    Blackstone Outfitters - Yukon

    Had some beers with a couple of Blackstone's guides at Reno this year. Really great guys. Talked a lot about their operation. Seem to have a pretty sweet operation.

    Stone Sheep Outfitter

    Yeah, I couldnt believe some of the prices at Reno this year, glad I booked one last year. I admit I'm not excited about the horse thing, but to get a Stone, I'll do it. Heading up to Kawdy this summer. I'll post how it goes after.

    October Dall Sheep Hunt

    I love the Hilleberg Nallo two man tent. Used them in NWT for dall sheep. Lots of room for one with gear. I would also look at the stone glacier Skyscaper 2 person tent. Used it in the Beartooth wilderness last year during the unlimited hunt. It was flat awesome, even with 2 guys.

    Kifaru vs exo

    Have used both. Like the fit and adaptability of Kifaru. Have several of their packs. Also really like the Stone Glacier packs/frames.
