    Kifaru Gun bearer - Universal vs Molle cradle mount

    Do you like the molle one better since you are using it as opposed to the universal? It seems the molle with wider foot print would spread the load out on the belt a little better. I have a 20 lb rifle so the velcro on the univeral makes me a little nervous.

    Has anyone used both for the Cradle mount? I understand I need the universal upper. I ordered a Mystery Ranch Pintler which has molle on the waist belt so I could use either version for the cradle mount. If anyone has used both, is the molle version an improvement over the universal?

    I’ll second the RRS cinch. Super quick and works great. I couldn’t imagine packing 2 tripods for PRS.

    Well, I wound up ordering the Pintler. I think it will work very well for my application. I originally wasn’t going to get a bag quite so large but after thinking about it awhile, the extra space may come in handy.

    I’m looking at the Kifaru 22 mag myself for the same application. I see alot of 5.11 rush 24’s and 72’s at matches.
