    I like that feature on the X bolts a lot. Thing is, it’s a different class of rifles. About 2X the price. My go to Christensen is 3x plus. For the $, those Americans are shooters down range. They do have their faults in bolt slop and rough safety, but shoot for the price.

    Chronographed my CA Mesa 308 today. That’s a 22” barrel 1:10 twist. Round is a factory Barnes VOR-TX TTSX 130 grain. chronograph is a shooting Chrony F-1. I set it up 10 feet from muzzle, shot with the factory muzzle break. Barnes lists the round at 3125 with a 24’ test barrel. Not sure the...

    Good luck. I had a 30.06 on order and finally gave up. Beretta could not give any estimate whatsoever so I bought a CA Mesa in 308 (also a mistake thus far). A lefty Tikka in 7mm did show up at local Sportsman warehouse but not looking for a magnum.

    Anyone know if the Browning X bolt speed composite stock has a palm swell on the grip or not? Their walnut hunter stocks do and I’m a lefty.
