I have used a Frankford Arsenal Platinum trimmer for a number of years, and decided bite the bullet and invest in a Henderson. I use in on 5 different calibers I reload for. It makes short work of trimming brass.
Actually, The Go To Gun Range/Store is Dragonman's! When I was there you could rent/shoot any number of machine guns and he has a military museum 2nd to none! ;)

Cabelas's sells this scope (re-branded Meopta with a 20-70 eye piece) and before I purchased mine, I was able to directly compare it to Swaro's, Leica, and top end Vortex. Mine doesn't give anything away to the other top end scopes I compared it to.
I own this spotting scope and compared it to Swaro's, Leica, and top end Vortex. Mine doesn't give anything away to the other top end scopes I compared it to.
I have a Markins Q-Ball head that I use. (Rated at 30kg max.) I use to use it for photography but got out of it. I considered selling it (and the CF tripod) but luckily didn't. I have my spotting scope mounted on it and at least at this point, this set-up is going to be with me for a while.
I've had a Grumman LITE Down Jacket for many years now and it hasn't let me down. I've gotten it filthy while while out overnight camping in the mountains around Ogden UT. we were out last year for a total of 2 weeks in January 2022 and put our gear through quite the ringer. At the end of the...
At that range I would look at a .308. Ammo is more available, It's ballistically a good caliber (out to 300 yards and slightly beyond) Used dies are available (and relatively in-expensive) you reload and powder/bullets/primers for this cartridge are relatively available. I would assume you have...
Wasn't bad at all for me. I did it on a Friday early afternoon, went home and rode the recliner that evening with plenty of ice packs. I was on the ice the following afternoon coaching my son's hockey practice all be it a little gingerly... I had to be a little more careful skating backwords...
I have to admit, over the past few months I have been giving serious consideration to the Henderson option. The whole reloading process SUX! It's the bain of my existence... You better order it quick, I have spoken to Todd Henderson (owner) and he said they are out 5-6 weeks or so on new orders...
You will not regret your NF purchase! I have 3 - 3.5-15x56 NF scopes mounted on 3 AR15's I built for P. Dog hunting. From my experience, anything much higher 15x is over kill. I came to this conclusion after mounting one of my NF 5-25-56 ATACR MOAR-T Enhanced scopes on one of my .223's. It was...
I've been using mine for about 3.5 years now and have trim/chamfer 1,000's of .223/5.56 cases during that time. It hasn't failed me yet. OAL has been very consistent. Short of buying something like a Henderson Precision case trimmer to the tune of about $800.00+ delivered, I don't see how you...
