Hey All,
Just wanted to pass on my experience with the Hornady 200 gr ELDX bullet. Killed a elk back in October 2022. I believe my elk was at 596 yards. Finally got around to cleaning up the bullet. If my math is right, 79.8% weight retention.
The bullet pictured, entered behind front shoulder and stopped on the back side ham just under the hide. Second bullet went through the spine and dropped her.
Any questions, let me know. Just wanted to share my experience in case folks had questions about the ELDX. Muzzle velocity was 2912 (ish).
