Going to be using a 308 out west this year for elk and mule deer.
Been trying 178 ELD-X and Varget with not a lot of success. Got some loads ready to test with H4895 and Starline brass to try.
I have a good load with 168 grain ELD-M using H4895, br-2, and ADG brass. Going out tomorrow to shoot this load to 300 yards to see what it will do. This will be my load if I can't get the 178 ELD-X working.
I am also close with a good load with Lapua 155 grains with varget and ADG brass. Just need to tweak the charge and test.

For whitetails here in KY, I have:
6.8 SPC, 110 grain Accubonds, H322
223 with 65 grain Sierra GKs, CFE223

How many grains for the 6.8 spc? Also this our of a AR or bolt gun. I have a AR and need to load for it.

It is an AR-15 in 6.8SPC. I am using H322 with 28.5 grains behind the 110 grain Accubond or 28 grains behind the 110 Hornady HPBT. Started playing around with 8208 and from initial testing, I can load up to 30 grains with the HPBT before seeing pressure signs. Still have some testing to do with that powder.

Do you have any experience with the long range Accubond on animals? I just bought 100 to load but I’ve read some
Sons rifle - 6.5 cm, 125 partition, Norma Brass, CCI BR2 primer, 44.0 H4350. 2950 FPS

My rifle - 270 win, 150 LRAB, Norma Brass, Fed 215, 60.0 R26, 3025 FPS

Both rifles will be used for Deer, Elk, Antelope.

I don't and have read some of things that you probably have also. I'm not overly concerned, 190 grains is a pretty hefty weight and I usually place my shots like I would with a bow.

270 Win with 130 gr E Tips over 54 grains of Hunter. Shoots well of of 3 270's, so grandsons & I can use same ammo. Our experience, on whitetails, with this bullet, has been superb.
Also trialing a 222 with 50 gr TTSX's. This is a quirky one, but the rifle is an Anschutz that is capable of near benchrest accuracy.

6.5 Remington Magnum, model 660 with 20” barrel, pillar bedded, Barnes TTSX 100 grain with the plastic tip ground down, rem 9.5 primer,56 grains of IMR 4350. Chrono at 3309 with sub 3/4” accuracy at 100 yds. Tried loads up to 58.5 grains running 3504 FPS with good accuracy but it was too hot giving stiff bolt lift and shiny spots on the case head.

I'm rifle hunting for the first time in many years this season. Didn't have much time for load development but I have a decent one worked up for my 308.

165gr Accubond over 45.7 grains of Varget. Shooting a bit over 2700 fps out of my suppressed 20" barrel.

Not exactly my top choixce for pronghorn but it's what I have. If I enjoy this hunt, I might invest in something in 6mm.
