2020 DIY Idaho Elk Hunt - 1st Year

I'm not opposed to a post hunt beer somewhere on the way back if the dates lined up haha. Semper- did you guys get additional tags or just elk?

Heck yeah, I'd be down for that. We also got deer tags. We plan to catch the last few days of deer and first few days of elk.

We also bought wolf and bear tags which I would suggest. Wolves are a problem out there, and and could be bad to the population of other species, so it's better to have it than not and wish you did. As for bear, we saw quite a few of them while cruising the back country but were focused on elk so didn't stray to tag one. This year we will be open to any creatures we see haha. For the price of IDFG vet hunts, it's worth the extra amount
