2021 Montana Mule Deer

I took this old warrior in Montana November 2021. Hunting was slow so I decided to take this unusual old buck, we figured he was passed his prime, probably 7 1/2 yrs old. He was by far the largest bodied buck I have ever shot! Shot with Fierce Fury LR in 300 Win Mag.

Nice work! Amazed deer can survive that long with the rigorous MT rifle season.

My hunt was on private ground, & I was just Cowboy aging him like you would do a cow, but I would of called him broken mouth! LOL

Haven’t killed many animals to compare, you think buck looks old? Not too sure what to look for.

Dos Perros, I can`t tell much by the jaw teeth, I go by the front teeth
