Hey I was wondering if anyone has used the Hornady 212 eldx bullets with a rifle chambered using the Rhian Mantha 300 win mag reamer? With the lack of Berger 215’s (and others) on the market right now I still have a bunch of 212 Eld x bullets to get me by until the 215’s are available again.
My questions are:
Would the the 212’s be too far off the lands using this reamer if I’m limited to a standard AICS MAG? Internal dimensions would allow a MAX COAL of 3.645”
Would the 212’s be seated too deep into the case?
Has anyone ever used this combo and did the rifle shoot well?
Barrel will be chambered using this reamer in a few weeks. And only planning on using these 212’s until the Berger’s are available.
