$40 cell phone adapter for Athlon Ares spotter

Finally pulled the trigger on the larger amazon adapter. Works great on the big eyepiece. A pic and short video from the living room this evening (through dirty glass). You might want one @idahohikker

Cheap phone/bino adapter

My neighbor picked one of these up and I had to follow. Only $18 on Amazon. Fits great on all my binos, though a tad small for my Athlon Ares 65 mm spotter (huge eyepiece in case you haven’t seen them). Thought I’d share. Two pics below from my 20+ year old 10x50 Leupold binos from my deck...

Was also video taping a small buck from the living room... came out good but can’t attach here. I’m pretty excited to take this out on hikes during the off-season.

Been using that exact one for the past couple months.. No complaints. Obviously not as durable as metal, but that has yet to be an issue for me.

I got this as well. I have tried 3 different ones recently. My favorite is the Tines Up. Works great, but it isn't universal on the phone side.

The two others I tried were the Novagrade Double Gripper and this one. Personally, I like this better than the Novagrade. Much easier setup. The only negative to this one is that it feels cheaply made.
