So I’m new to reloading and I’m still getting things here and there to be able to load for my rifles. I have a browning a bolt in 7MM wsm with a 1:9.5 twist and have had a somewhat difficult time getting factory ammo to shoot accurately as well as the factory ammo available isn’t really what I want to shoot. I am looking for suggestions on what grain bullet and load you guys would suggest for mule deer and black bear. I was thinking the 150 to 160 accubond would be a good place to start for a bullet? Thanks in advance!

I’m a big fan of the 7 WSM and have tried several 175 grain and never could get any that were shooting sub 1 min except for Barnes

I’m getting ready to start on some 165 and something in the 150 range to see if I can tighten things up

I’ve always had luck with Bertram brass, 66-67.5 grains of H1000 or 65 grains of Reloder 26 with the 175 ELD-X. 2950/2980 range with a 26” barrel.

I've gotten great accuracy with 160 grain Accubonds and Partitions out of my 7 SAUM. I'm getting 2960fps with the 160 grain Partitions out of my 22" factory barreled Remington Model Seven.

The 140 grain Accubonds and Partitions are also very accurate in this rifle at around 3100fps.

You should be able to put something together pretty easily.

i feel your pain. I have a Winchester shadow in 7mm WSM and its been driving me crazy. I reload for all my rifles and this one just wont come together. I go from trading it off to maybe i should try this or that and get frustrated all over again. If i can get it to come together and actually use it on a hunt, i would be able to sleep at night! Good luck.

One of the best calibers out there. I shoot 180 Bergers @ 3100 with single digit SD and RL26 1:9 Bartlein
