It is with my great pleasure to share with you all an article that I recently wrote about our experience with the ANCOT organization and the people of the Pamirs in the Central Asian country of Tajikistan last November. With a great token of appreciation from the editors (and others) of the Wild Sheep Foundation, this post has appeared in the 2022 Spring issue of the Wild Sheep magazine which some of you who are members of this organization will be receiving hard copies of through your regular mail shortly here. Those who are not a members, well perhaps it is now a good time to join. (https://www.wildsheepfoundation.org/memberships/join-or-renew)

I tried to be as accurate and as unbiased as possible, giving credit where it was due. It warms my heart to see the local people of Tajikistan get involved in the conservation movement and take it to another level.
