I've got a friend who has a tag for disabled veterans in this unit this year and as I'm likely only able to take one trip down to scout for him, I'm looking for any advice I can get.
Literally anything helps at this point as I don't know the unit at all, aside from what I'm learning from google earth. The biggest concern I have is the mobility of my friend and getting to a place he can take a shot at the animal. We'll have plenty of help for packing out and spreading out to glass the unit.
I have a call in to the local biologist, hoping he might have some pointers and/or know some landowners who might allow him access.
