Alternate Tag - Nevada Unit

Received notice today I was selected as the alternate for a archery tag (August 1-21) for Nevada Unit Looks like some great topographic for spot and stalk - I much rather be mobile than play the ”sitting water game”. Anyone willing to help out with any insights on unit would be very much appreciated and please feel free to send me a DM.

I am up against it with this late notice and likely going to have to go into hunt blind with no scouting trip which is not my standard. But know I have gathered some preliminary info on here over the years for some out state hunts.

That’s a neat area . One thing that was told by some big buck shooters . Don’t be afraid to go higher on the mountain than you think the lopes would be. And I agree . I saw some monsters while deer hunting 7500’ ish just a few zones away
