Does anyone have any experience with these?

I'm just curious if 6061 aluminum is stout enough for a 300 mag.

I'm also looking at these.

I've looked at Warne Mtn Tech, Badger Ordnace and TPS 7075, but don't like the looks of the big ole nut sticking out the side of them.

The Vortex PMR rings are made by Seekins, and just labeled as Vortex. I’ve had 5 - 10 sets of the Seekins/Vortex PMRs, and I think they are a good ring.

I haven’t used the TPS, but they just look like a rip off of the Seekins that use a lower grade material. Seekins also has a solid manufacturing track record. If you don’t like the “big ole nut”, you could also look at American Precision Arms, ARC M-10’s, or Tier One. There’s others as well.

Rings aren’t an item to save a couple bucks IMO.

I am leaning towards the Vortex rings because they are made by Seekins. I would just go with Seekins but they only fit picatinny rails and not weaver mounts. I believe the other 3 you mentioned only fit pic rails as well. Thanks for your response.
