Another One: Kowa vs. Leupold

Ok, looking at a couple of 12x's, here. The Kowa BD 12 x 56mm vs. the Leupold BX-4 Pro Guide in 12 x 50mm. Lots of guys rave about the BX-4s on here. Lots of others rave about Kowa's spotters. What about their Binos? I can get the Kowa's for about $50 cheaper than the Leupolds. I am not sure why, but the Kowa MSRP is much lower, even though I THINK they are both made in Japan. Which one would you go for? Thanks for the help!

Better binos out there than Kowa. Their spotters are far better than their binos by all accounts.

I know people aren't impressed with the kowa binoculars, but I would suggest looking at the Kowa Genesis. I have the 10.5x44 and have been very happy with them. Coming from Tract toric 12.5x50's, I was kinda blown away by the Kowa's.

Are there better? Sure, but for 1k I feel like they preform as good as I need.
