Aoudad hunt near Big Bend, TX

I had a great hunt with Stephen West late last year near Big Bend, TX. We were WAY back in the sticks...we drove to the end of the road, went through a locked gate and drove 42 miles on dirt to get back there. A friend and I both took nice aoudad up in the rocks. The aoudad's face looks like that because, well...check the video of the shot. Rifle is McWhorter 6.5 PRC shooting 140 Bergers at over 3k fps...steep angle on the shot with a good crosswind in the canyon. I was about 200 yards above him and about 225 across. Goat measured 33" with 13" bases.

Good looking ram! I really enjoy every minute spent in that part of the country when camping and cannot wait to be out there with a rifle looking for ram. Thanks for the motivation.
