I'm excited to finally and officially announce our new 6 person tent today, the Selway 6P Tent. It's designed to be a large backpacking tent for bigger groups or a base camp setup. It's 3.43 pounds and has 157 sq. ft of space. I think you'll all find it to be very packable for the size and weight. We also have a number of accessory products that go with the tent so you can customize your tent, including half floors, half inserts and liners for condensation management. We're running a limited pre-sale starting the 22nd if you're interested.

One small but important note, I do think our liners and the way they attach are unique and worth checking out. We used integrated G hooks to make them easy to connect, and we patterened the liners to be close to the tent wall so there is virtually zero lost interior space when you run liners. If you've ever experienced the loss of interior space from using liners, you know what I mean.

Details are all on the product page linked below. Fire away with any questions.

Pre Sale starts January 22nd at 9 a.m. MST for all of you that are interested.

I have been waiting for this tent to come out since I have been seeing certain guys use it on the interwebs. I would way rather support Argali than Seek.

Is the presale price a special price or just a chance at being the first to get it?

No special price...the presale is just for people that want to guarantee to get one. Usually we will sell out during a presale so it's a way for anyone that knows they want one to grab one.

Is that something you'd like to see? We have been considering doing them for the Absaroka but no the Rincon.
I would. Stove weather usually means no bugs but prime conditions for condensation. It would be nice to be able to go full floorless but still have that barrier. I like the half liners, so there's the option of one or both.

Maybe I'm missing something but what is the difference between the inserts and liners? Also will there be a video soon. Need a visual to convince the wife this is THE tent.

There are videos out there. The liners go against the walls to help with condensation (optional add on). However, it does come with a 1/2 ground tarp insert. Or you can purchase the bathtub mesquite netting insert.

yes, video coming very soon showing the setup and product. Insert = bathtub floor/mesh netting piece. Liner attaches to wall to prevent condensation from dripping on you.
