Bell & Carlson question.

Hello, I am a hunter first and foremost. I'm looking at a B&C M40 or Long range hunter for my new Bergara Ridge in 7mm Rem mag. Anyone have experience with these stocks? And which of the two would you choose? Max max max is 500 yrd shots.

I had a B&C several years ago on a tikka and it worked fine. I would probably have it bedded if i were you. Of the 2 you listed, I would definitely go with the long range hunter. I like the vertical grip and higher cheek.

I like a higher cheek weld too, I just didn't know which one was higher.

I believe the Bell and Carlson M40 is what's on my Sako A7. I don't care for the style, but it works fine.

Had one of there stocks on a Remington 700 was not a fan.

Any more input on the M40, I have one here semi locally that I can get for $225 brand new. Not sure if spending an extra $105 + shipping on the long range hunter?
