Best Brown Bear and Moose Rifle Setup

For a combo hunt….what setup? 300PRC, with a 1-6x42 scope? Thoughts?

A ton of options. I have used a 375 Ruger for both bear and moose. Wearing a Leupold 1.5-6 x32. Heavy post reticle.

I have also used a .338 Win Mag with equal success. 3-9 scope on it.

My preference would be at least a .30 caliber from a 30-06 on up. You pick your flavor.

Scope choice should be based on expected terrain and distance. Most guides are not gonna allow flinging bullets at long distance on bears.

The combo you asked about should get the job done very well.

Both animals are magnificent, and once you hunt them, not much else measures up. ( You have been warned !!!! Lol!!)
