Best Vehicle Window Spotting Scope Mount

Best vehicle window spotting scope mount out there?

I don't know if the type of scope makes a difference. I will be using my dad's Zeiss Dialyt 18-45x65 on it for now and eventually want to get myself a swaro.

I’m still new to all this but a lot of the window mounts seem the same to me, and I’m not really impressed by them. I’ve only seen photos online but Vanguard came out with two recently (one pan and one ball) that look to be pretty good quality/value. I think I’m going to give the ballhead a try this season. I believe they’re called the VEO’s?

Only other experience I have is with a Swarovski/Outdoorsmen ballhead Frankenstein combo that was finicky but worked well enough once you got it figured out.

Get the same brand as your tripod so yoir not changing mounts

Get a window clamp and mount the head of your choice on it…..

I got 2 of the same heads. One for the tripod and one with a window clamp on it. That way I don't have to be switching things around all the time and the plates slide into either.
