First lite are fine, or buffalo wool company if you aren’t prone to losing glovesI'm gonna need a new source for their wool gloves too. I woulda ordered a dozen pairs had I known this was coming.

Dunno how much it hurt but I know I ceased spending money with them over it. That one email reply they sent someone about how the poacher muley freak was posting interesting updates from his side of things was weird, its like the poach muley freak wrote the email himself type of weird. Even if they wanted to give the benefit of the doubt while in court the convictions aren't up for debate, they happened and yet they continued to carry gear from the poacher muley freak. Can't say I hoped for them going out of business, I personally hoped they'd do the right thing an sever ties with the poacher muley freak.
I seem to recall that being mentioned around back then. Honestly I sorta wonder if black ovis actually know they pushed away customers over the poacher muley freak or if that information was being filtered out from reaching them.I for sure think it was written by him. I believe at one point I heard that MF was running their social media.

I also messaged them with my disdain for carrying MF products. While I admit that I did make a couple of purchases afterwards, they definitely fell off of my "go to" list. I started looking elsewhere, often GoHunt.
I can't help but imagine that having some number of people make similar decisions had to hurt.
Add up a number of people deciding not to buy, economy/tariffs, market competition, and slim margins. It was probably a "death by 1000 cuts" scenario.
Side note: I believe there was a knife company with some level of MF partnership that was having trouble filling orders. That could be a common thread...
I went to their zip hoodie to replace the one I had from black ovis (when I no longer wanted to support a business that had ties to the poacher muley freak), its solid. I don't see it listed on their site though, it was the vapor snorkel.I would highly suggest Duckworth.
What truck, bow, and rifle does MF use?
Maybe this is the way I can justify some upgrades.
Another case of one keyboard warrior’s ethical protest changing the world for the better. LOL.By golly!! Sounds like your email and boycott closed their doors!
You have already spent that money. Sunk cost. Purchasing elsewhere will help how? What truck, bow, and rifle does MF use?

Ive had the complete opposite experience. My BO merino is going on 5 years old and Im very hard on gear. Wore the soles off of brand new Kenetreks in 2 seasons for example. That BO merino tops lasted 4 years. The bottoms lasted 3 years. I still have the hoody and wore it this past weekend its at the 5 year mark. Its my favorite piece.Man, I had to Google it to find out what the heck was going on with CF and found this. Now I know. That’s too bad.
This was my experience too actually. I bought 3 different merino pieces and none of them lasted more than a week literally.
Still, they had a lot of other cool stuff, and I’m sad to see them go.
I wish you were right but I doubt it. Just like people still watch the NFL like it is their religion while they support the woke left destroying the country.
Yes. I ordered a bunch of peak refuel and socks on the 17th. Received them today. Fastest shipping ever from Black Ovis.Does anyone else have a pending order with them? I get a hard pounding sensation in the back side when I look up my recent order (Oct 15) with it saying "shipping label made" and not picked up or on the way.

He has multiple convictions. During his last time in court folks questioned BO about continuing to carry his products. They ignored most folks but replied to one saying he had been posting new details in his defense. Well he lost in court still. And BO continued to support the brand and ignore people questioning it.Gonna have to look into the MF situation. I guess it doesn’t matter now but I’ve followed black Ovis for years. Bought tons of stuff. The only time I ever read or heard anything about this guy was on this forum very recently.
