Hey guys. I have an old Ruger m77 from the early 90s that is chambered in 243. Someday I think it would be fun to make it into a new build. That said, I have no real idea what is possible with that action. Can you more experienced fellas give me a couple ideas of what I could do? I have no idea what various things would cost but I think it would be cool to put it in a chassis of some sort? I’m not sure what I could chamber for with that action other than the obvious like 308 win.
Anyway I’m not looking for blueprints but I don’t really know what’s possible. Id also be having a gunsmith do the work so that would need to be considered as well.
